The French Paradox Tasting Room and Surgery Wine Bars
The French Paradox is about wine, the food is an added Bonus. Simple salads, French style pâté , Irish cured Fish, Camembert Fondu, Pan Fries Foie Gras with mango. just a few of our signature dishes under the baton of Josephine who trained under the supervision of Jean Paul in Saint Emilion.
Each evening and lunchtime traditional hot dishes, Notre plat du jour like Coq au Vin or confit de canard are available. Over 60 wines are available by the glass. The tasting room above the wine shop has nine tables with additional seating at the Zinc Bar and downstairs at the Surgery Bar with a small terrace outside. French speaking staff, good wine and good company only enhances the Mediterranean atmosphere in the heart of Dublin 4.
The French Paradox is located only 5 minutes by foot from the new Aviva Stadium making it the perfect location to have a lunch, dinner or a glass of wine before of after attending one of the events in the new Aviva Stadium.
